The V1 conversion kit is the very basic kit I offer for those who already own a Dynamax fan. This kit includes everything needed to convert your old IC Dynamax fans to electric for significantly higher performance and reliability. This kit is the easiest way to make the jump into the EDF world without breaking your budget while minimizing the need to reconstruct your old jets that are setup with a Dynamax fan.
I recommend using HET 800 series motors for 12s-15s use, which will provide over 20lbs of thrust when installed with proper intake and exhaust ducting. Please take a look below for links to the test video and all pertinent data. For optimal cooling and maximum thrust, all testing is conducted with 3D printed tailcones (sold separately) installed behind the motor and a 12" long exhaust duct that narrows down to a 4" diameter at the exit.
To make the conversion process as easy as possible, be sure to watch the detailed disassembly and assembly videos posted below. The videos are a little lengthy but they will answer all your questions and minimize mistakes. At a minimum, the end user should have a strong metal clamp or vice available to take apart and assemble the Dynamax rotor. Total disassembly and assembly time will be less than 2 hours for the novice.
