How it works

The length and shape of the NACA duct creates counter-rotating vortices that deflect the boundary layer away from the intake, but draw in the faster-moving air above it, thus allowing you to get air into the aircraft without creating a lot of extra drag.


I recommend adding these ducts at the front end of the fuselage or where required to provide cool airflow over the ESC and batteries. Also ensure that there is an outlet towards the back of the aircraft to vent the influx of air and heat.
